FUNKY RED 2021
Philosophy: To express the purity of the grapes through irreverent winemaking techniques.
Origin: Grapes from old vines, over 60 years old, from the Baixo Corgo in the Douro.
Caste: Field Blend, where Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz predominate.
Vinification: Manual harvesting in 20Kg boxes. Reception with destemming and partial crushing, completing with whole bunches, followed by cold maceration for 2 days. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature in order to obtain an elegant and smooth wine, without too much extraction.
Internship: Stainless steel and bottle.
Bottling Date: March 2023.
Tasting Note: Open ruby color. Dazzling aroma, notorious nuances of red plum and wild fruits where the freshness of the fruit seduces. On the palate, balance prevails, combining the flavor of the fruit with a crunchy acidity. Nice long finish.
